# Gabbercult | 90s Hardcore DJ & Producer
50% Rotterdam blood, 50% Italian hardcore passion.
As a 90s veteran DJ and producer with Dutch-Italian roots, I grew up at the absolute birth of the gabber culture. Starting out on Soundlab decks, moving up to Gemini, and eventually mastering the craft on Technics SL-1210MK2 turntables combined with the legendary Dateq XTC mixer, my path was set early. From spinning vinyl at age 15 in Plexat to doing every-Friday in-store sessions at Chill Out, I lived and breathed the underground scene. By 2005, the legendary Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK2 setups had integrated into the performance, cementing a reputation for technical precision.
In the studio, I started out carving my sound in Cubase and the iconic music tracker FastTracker 2, later evolving through MadTracker, Renoise, Redux and Reason studios, up to my modern setup in Ableton today.
At 16, I was working at the legendary Mid-Town Records warehouse and retail store in ROTTERDAM, with none other than DJ Paul Elstak as my manager. Later on, my unreleased music got picked up and played on the notorious hardcore station Hype.fm. Exactly 20 years after that radio support, that same legendary unreleased track is finally getting its official release this year.
Gabbercult is here to keep that authentic underground movement alive, dedicated to preserving the raw energy of classic 90s hardcore, early gabber, and modern rawstyle.
